The Joseph Needham Foundation for Science and Civilisation- Public Lectures on STEM Education

The Hong Kong Academy of Sciences working together with the Hong Kong Science Museum, the Joseph Needham Foundation for Science and Civilisation and the Education Bureau will jointly organise a series of onsite / online public STEM lectures from 29 September 2021 to 19 January 2022.  A wide range of exciting topics presented by experts will be covered, including COVID-19 (Prof YUEN Kwok Yung), Chinese Medicine (Prof BIAN Zhao Xiang), brain-wave control technology (Prof TONG Kai Yu) , smart antimicrobial technologies (Prof YEUNG King Lun), Ethical Perspective of AI applications (Prof Helen MENG) and sustainable development (Prof Vivian Taam WONG).   

All lectures will be presented in Cantonese and will be broadcast online.  School groups may also attend the lectures onsite in the Hong Kong Science Museum through prior registration with the Museum.
