The Inauguration Ceremony was organised to announce and commemorate the establishment of our Academy. The Chief Executive of HKSAR, Hon C Y Leung, the Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Minister of Science and Technology, Prof Wan Gang, the President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof Bai Chunli and the President of The Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, Prof Lap-Chee Tsui officiated the events. Distinguished guests, both local and from outside of Hong Kong shared the important moments with us.
