Dr Jonathan Choi awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal (GBM)

Dr Jonathan Choi, Founding Patron of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences and Senior Adviser to our President, was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal (GBM) in 2021 in recognition of his distinguished service and contribution to Hong Kong.   The generous donation of Dr Choi has greatly facilitated the Academy in pursuing its objective of promoting the development and advancement of science and technology in Hong Kong.

Congratulations and sincere thanks to Dr Choi.


About Grand Bauhinia Medal (GBM)
The Grand Bauhinia Medal is the highest award under the HKSAR Honours and Awards System.  It is awarded to eminent persons to recognise their life-long and highly significant contribution to the well-being of Hong Kong.
